candycane brittle

Candy cane brittle                                                                                               makes about 10-13

you will need:
1 chocolate bar (baking chocolate)
3 candy canes (plain)
1 baking tray- with wax paper on it
1 plastic bag- large
1 butter knife

  1. put the candy cane in the bag
  2. use the knife to break it into small pieces then set aside
  3. melt the chocolate bar by either microwaving it, or melting it on the stove
  4. when chocolate is melted, pour evenly onto tray
  5. sprinkle the crushed candy cane on top
  6. put it in the freezer for up to 1 1/2 hours
  7. when frozen, lightly tap, or break into small pieces
  8. serves quickly so it won't melt!
